Neighbourhood Pharmacies take part in the National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS). This means your local Neighbourhood Pharmacy can help you access support, information, and lower-cost diabetes products. The NDSS is designed to help people with diabetes better understand and manage their condition, while making it easier to get the care and supplies they need.
At Neighbourhood Pharmacies, you can access NDSS-subsidised items such as insulin pump supplies, needles, syringes, blood glucose test strips and urine test strips.
If a product isn’t currently in stock, the pharmacy can usually order it for you. These items are often delivered to the pharmacy within 24–48 hours, helping to make sure you don’t go without your supplies.
